I am sorry for not posting in a while, we have just been very busy. Daniel has been going to a playgroup at our church since September, and he is absolutely loving it. He has just exploded with trying to talk to us, but unfortunately we have not been able to understand much of what he says. There are times though, that we just get it, and you can tell it makes him so happy that we are understanding him.
We had a great Thanksgiving with both of our families. We had lunch with Kyle's family on Thursday, then we ate lunch with my family on Friday. It worked out really well except that Daniel did not get to start taking his nap until like 3 or 4 in the afternoon on both days, but fortunately Thursday he was able to sleep almost an hour and a half because of the drive home. Friday he only ended up sleeping about 30 minutes. He did very good both days, and did not have any meltdowns from being very tired. The only bad thing was is that Daniel did not want to eat anything. He ended up eating leftovers at home, which made me happy because he seemed to enjoy all the different foods.
Daniel had a very good time at Halloween as well. He did not want to put his mask on, but we finally got him to put it on just to take a few pictures and then it had to come off. We only went to about 5 houses, and then we went to a block party where they had one of the inflatable bouncers. He had a blast in it until a teenage boy with scary face paint decided he wanted to get in and scare all the kids, and of course Daniel was so scared, he did not want to move. We finally talked him over to the side where we could maneuver him over to the opening. Once he got out he was fine.
